It's Not Just About Ideas

My wildly important goal is to start an online platform for college admissions. It would consist of helpful tips, videos from admissions counselors, courses on applying and so much more. I would hand out the website to counselors and teachers throughout the Houston area so they can give students access to more learning when it comes to applying for college.

I consider myself to have a growth mindset because I have always found that I am constantly improving myself and I am striving to become a better employee so I can gain the experience and knowledge I need to succeed in my career. I will admit that I do hate failure and I do try to avoid it but at the same time, I embrace it when needed. I accept that I will not always succeed and I can learn from my mistakes and make what I was doing better.

In order to ensure that I will not downplay on the growth mindset, I will be constantly trying to improve myself and take on challenges that will help shape and grow myself in my career. I will make sure I am doing my job for the right reasons and not just for a paycheck.

I believe the why is most important when it comes to learning because we need to have the motivation to do the work and we need to have the answer to why we are doing it because without the why, the work is just not worth doing.
