Am I an Innovative Educator?

So am I really an innovative educator? I am not entirely sure because I interact with high school students when I go to fairs but I only get to talk to them once and then I move on to another school. I talk about what students can do with their education and why it is important to continue in Higher Education. I can see that as a small way of telling them to share their ideas with other people outside the classroom. But its hard to know if I am an innovative educator because what if I am just promoting our school and not actually trying to help the students go to the college that they want to go to? I find that I question that a lot.

I personally love talking to students about their future and I encourage them to go somewhere with a good program but how do I know if I am doing it for the right reasons? I do feel however that I truly am creating an environment where my students work is meaningful. They work really hard on their college applications and I do all that I can to help guide them through the process.

I feel like under communication is a mistake because when someone high up in the company puts out a message to all of the employees under them, they need to be able to write the message where everyone can understand it. For example if a company put out an encouraging statement to the company and they used big words and made it sound official because it came from the top, when it reached the lower employees in the company some did not understand because of the big words they used. Sometimes people are not on the same level as the higher ups in their company and we need to be able to communicate to them in a specific way.
